With the midgate down and the Multi-Flex Tailgate load stop in place, you can fit items up to 10 ft. 10 in. long in your pickup bed. You can even set it to a full-width step to help you hop in and out of your bed. And when you’re loading up heavy materials, you can do so confidently because that step can support up to 375 pounds. Need to fill out invoices or review blueprints on the go? You can set the inner gate to the work surface position to use as a standing desk.

There’s even one more hauling feature on the Silverado EV, and that’s the eTrunk. The eTrunk is a storage area beneath the hood. This is unique to the Silverado EV because the traditional gas engine model keeps an internal combustion engine in there. Without an engine, the Silverado EV gives you 10.7 cu.ft. of extra space in the front for odds and ends that you just don’t get with a gas engine model.
