2025 Chevy Blazer EV
While the Chevy Blazer nameplate has been around for decades, the Blazer EV is an all-new generational entry in the long-running series. The all-electric SUV made its first appearance as a 2024 model, and now it has moved into the second model year outing of the first generation with the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV. The five-door SUV seats five people across two rows and is available in multiple powertrain configurations for different types of EV shoppers. It competes in a growing segment among the major automakers, which includes midsize EV rivals such as the Honda Prologue.
The 2025 Blazer EV adds some worthwhile changes to the model year line-up, including the performance-driven SS trim. There are also some other minor options added to the alternative-fuel SUV, such as the all-new Midnight Edition and Sport Edition packages being made available for those who want to spruce up their Blazer EV. The Midnight Edition features a black body color with high-gloss black roof rails, black badging, and 19-inch black aluminum wheels. Now available when you order Super Cruise functionality is Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist. Also, a new black- or white-painted roof and 21-inch wheel options have been made available for the LT trim. Each trim is also available with 22-inch Bronze Tech wheels if you really want to spruce up the sports appeal of the Blazer EV.
When it comes to trim availability, the five-door SUV can be acquired in three different robust trim formats, including the base LT trim, the mid-grade RS trim, and the high-performance SS trim, which will be available later in the model year. This gives the Blazer EV a nice slate of different options based on what you're shopping for out of an EV when it comes to features and performance. Additionally, the Blazer EV is available with two different interior color schemes, including a full Black interior and a two-tone Black and Adrenaline Red palette. The exterior colors are quite varied, including six solid colors and five two-tone colors. When it comes to the solid exterior colors, you have Black, Iridescent Pearl Tricoat, Sterling Gray Metallic, Radiant Red Tintcoat, Galaxy Gray Metallic, and Riptide Blue Metallic. On the LT and the RS trims, you also have the option of a black or white roof for a more stylish color combination.

Performance
Powertrains
The 2025 Blazer EV is available with three different powertrain configurations, with select options for rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. The 85 kWh battery is a dual motor setup outputting up to 300 hp and 355 lb-ft of torque, while a 102 kWh single-motor battery pack is configured to output up to 340 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. Finally, the Blazer EV SS is paired with a 102 kWh dual motor battery pack that outputs up to 557 hp and 648 lb-ft of torque, designed as a high-performance EV for those who crave that level of speed from the very stylish Chevy EV.
Trailering
The 85 kWh dual-motor configuration is capable of towing up to 1,500 lbs, while the 102 kWh single-motor configuration is capable of towing up to 3,500 lbs. This enables owners to get quite a bit of utility out of this all-electric, midsize SUV, even if you're looking for something to take on vacation or to trailer cargo around. It also comes with trailer wiring standard on the RS trim and can have a trailer hitch installed. Anti-lock brakes come standard across the trim line, while the LT trim comes standard with 19-inch aluminum wheels, but you have access to 21-inch machined-face aluminum wheels with gray-painted pockets. Alternatively, 21-inch machined-face aluminum wheels with black painted pockets come standard on the RS trim.
Range and Charging
One other important aspect when it comes to alternative-fuel vehicles is range. Many people want to avoid having to constantly dump money into filling up at the gas pump to keep an internal combustion engine fuel tank full. In this case, you have a charging port on the side of the 2025 Blazer EV, and it enables you to recharge the vehicle at Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 charging stations. This includes basic 120-volt home outlets, Level 2 home and public chargers, and Level 3 DC Fast Chargers, where you can recharge in a matter of minutes. At the top end of the Blazer EV's charging economy, you can expect to achieve up to 283 miles of total range in all-wheel drive for both the LT and RS trims on a full charge.
Convenience
Cargo
Outside and in, the 2025 Blazer EV has some exciting convenience and comfort features, including an available AutoSense power liftgate. If your hands are occupied, the tailgate can lift for you, giving you access to the rear cargo area. You can store up to 25.5 cu.ft. of cargo in the rear hatch area, or you can fold down the second row and make use of up to 59.1 cu.ft. of cargo volume. This gives you a lot of room and plenty of storage capacity for your personal belongings.
User-Friendly Features
Automatic on/off LED headlamps, illuminated perimeter rocker lights, and Rainsense automatic wipers also help with making the ride a lot more convenient. You don't have to worry about fumbling around for the controls to turn the windshield wipers on or off. Plus, with heated, power, driver-side auto-dimming folding mirrors, you can easily check your blindspots and not have to worry about the mirrors fogging up or being covered by ice or snow.
Available satin aluminum-finish roof rails give you an opportunity to expand the cargo capacity of the electric SUV with roof cargo accessories, while the available dual-pane power sunroof brings a luxury element to the Blazer EV's hyper-stylized appeal. Plus, with the exterior choreography LED lighting, you have walk-up and walk-away-activated animated light sequences, which really bring out the vehicle's contemporary sense of personality. Inside, you have available heated and ventilated front seats, with either cloth, Evotex, or perforated suede material, with 8-way driver seat adjustments with lumbar support, and a 6-way manual front passenger seat with 2-way lumbar support. Plus, you have steering wheel media controls, a cargo net, and safety mechanisms for children that include rear child security door locks and a LATCH system.
Technology
Chevy Safety Assist
With the 2025 Blazer EV, you can expect a wide assortment of modern technologies to round out your driving experience in the alternative fuel midsize SUV. You have a robust tech-dependent safety suite made available from the Chevy Safety Assist, which is standard across the trim line. This includes six active assists, such as Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, IntelliBeam, and a Following Distance Indicator. Other standard active safety features include the Safety Alert Seat, a Rear Seat Reminder, and even Traffic Sign Recognition.
Additional Features
Added features like OnStar and Connected Services provide you with connectivity and access to emergency services while on the road. Additionally, the Teen Driver Technology is standard across the line-up, featuring parental controls, report cards, and Buckle to Drive to ensure teens start and end their driving sessions as safely as possible. Plus, the 2025 Blazer EV also has the available hands-free, semi-autonomous Super Cruise, which enables drivers to sit back and let the Blazer EV do the driving for you. Super Cruise enables semi-autonomous driving across hundreds of thousands of compatible miles throughout the United States and Canada.
Infotainment
You can easily plot your course or maintain an eye on the Blazer EV's status with an 11-inch digital driver display and information cluster, as well as a huge 17.7-inch HD touchscreen featuring Google Built-in support for quick menu navigation and easy app access. Plus, you have wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, along with Bluetooth streaming, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, and Google Automotive Services capability. You can also keep your devices charged with multiple USB ports or stay connected while traveling, thanks to the 5G Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity. With a remote start, remote power locks, and an available heads-up display, you have a complete tech suite for safety, accessibility, convenience, and infotainment at your fingertips with the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV.
