For well over 20 years, the Chevy Silverado series of trucks has given you amazing full-size pickups to choose from, delivering robust power and capabilities year after year. Along with their powerful engines, one of the reasons so many people love the Silverado 1500 is the wide range of options it gives you to choose from, including a multitude of trim levels. The 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 is no exception to this, and there are nine different trims for you to choose from when considering this truck. We’ll admit that’s a pretty staggering number, and trying to sort through all of those options can become quite challenging, so today, we’re going to take you through all nine of them, highlight what each offers, and make it easier for you to figure out which one might be right for you.

2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 WT

Although this is arguably the starting trim for the Silverado 1500, it’s generally more of a fleet truck than one you’d buy to park in your driveway. Still, it gives us some of the foundational features of this pickup. The WT is available with the 310-hp TurboMax starting engine or the 355-hp 5.3L V8 engine, providing two great options to choose from. It comes with 17-inch silver painted wheels, black bumpers featuring a CornerStep rear bumper that makes it easy to reach items in the bed, a standard tailgate, and black side mirrors and handles. Inside, the WT features a seven-inch Infotainment display, a 3.5-inch monochromatic Driver Information Center display, and a six-speaker sound system. This is the only model that comes with vinyl seating inside, though it also has remote keyless entry, cruise control, and single-zone climate control.

2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 Custom

Moving up to the Custom model, this is generally seen as the entry point if you’re not looking to build a fleet, and it comes with the standard TurboMax engine. You get 20-inch Bright Silver painted wheels on this model, along with body-color front and rear bumpers, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, and an EZ Lift assist tailgate that’s easier to open and close. Inside the Custom, you still get the seven-inch Infotainment screen and small Driver Information Center, but this model comes with cloth seating that includes a 10-way power driver’s seat, plus a remote start to go with remote keyless entry.

2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT

As much as we like the features of the Custom model, unless you’re shopping on a very tight budget, we suggest you start with the LT. It includes a number of excellent upgrades, particularly inside, while letting you choose from the TurboMax engine, the 5.3L V8, or the 3.0L Duramax turbo diesel engine. This is tremendous freedom to get the kind of performance you want from your truck. You’ll find 17-inch wheels on the LT, along with chrome front and rear bumpers, chrome mirror caps, and LED reflector headlamps with LED signature daytime running lamps. Upgrades inside include a 13.4-inch Infotainment system with Google built-in plus a 12.3-inch full-color Driver Information Center. This model also comes with heated front seats, a wrapped and heated steering wheel, and dual-zone climate control.

2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 RST

Moving up to the RST, the enhancements aren’t as dramatic as the LT, but there are still some noteworthy upgrades. This model has the same engines available but adds the 6.2L V8 engine (our favorite pick); it comes with 18-inch Bright Silver wheels, body-color bumpers, and more excellent exterior features. Inside, you’ll find the same upgrades as the LT, making it a terrific choice if you like what the previous trim offers but want enhanced performance.

2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ

Your second-highest option (assuming you’re not looking to go off-road), the LTZ includes a number of nice upgrades and extra features. This beauty comes with 20-inch Sterling Silver wheels, chrome bumpers and mirror caps, and even chrome door handles. You also get a Power Up and Down Tailgate with this model, which you can open and close at the push of a button. Interior upgrades include 10-way driver and front-passenger seating, heated and ventilated front seats, and a seven-speaker Bose Premium sound system. There’s even a wireless charging pad inside this model for compatible devices.

2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 High Country

If you’re looking for peak comfort and luxury in your Chevy truck, then the High Country is the one for you. This model comes with 20-inch machined aluminum wheels with body-color bumpers, a spray-on bedliner, and six-inch chrome rectangular wheel-to-wheel assist steps. Inside, you’ll find perforated leather seating with all of the impressive upgrades from the LTZ, along with heated rear seats, adaptive cruise control, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. And with enhanced safety systems like Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert that makes towing easier and safer, this is the perfect choice for getting home safely after the job is done.

2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 Custom Trail Boss

The first of three options for going off-road, this model gives you many of the same features as the Custom trim with off-road enhancements. For example, the Custom Trail Boss has 18-inch wheels wrapped in MT Goodyear Wrangler Territory tires for excellent grip on the trail. You also get the Z71 Suspension package with this model featuring an off-road suspension with Rancho monotube shocks, a two-inch factory lift, and greater ground clearance. Interior features are much like the Custom, with the seven-inch Infotainment screen, 3.5-inch Driver display, and cloth seating that’s comfortable and fairly easy to keep clean.

2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss

If you want some upgraded features along with great off-road performance, then this is a good one to consider. It also comes with the Z71 Suspension featuring the two-inch factory lift and enhanced capability out on the trail. 20-inch wheels are standard for this model, though 18-inch wheels with the Goodyear Wrangler tires are available (which we suggest for going off-road). You also get skid plates to protect the underside of this truck. Best of all, this model has the interior enhancements of the LT, including a 13.4-inch Infotainment display, a 12.3-inch Driver screen, and heated front seats that are perfect for trips to remote campsites or mountain trails.

2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2

Finally, the ZR2 is the truck to choose if you want ultimate off-road performance and capability, along with incredible features inside and out. This truck features a ZR2 Suspension package featuring a lifted high-performance suspension with Multimatic DSSV dampers. It comes with 18-inch wheels wrapped in the Goodyear Wrangler tires, plus it comes with a Chevytec spray-on bedliner and more great features. Inside, the ZR2 comes with the Bose Premium sound system, perforated leather-appointed seating, 10-way front seats, and a wireless charging pad. And if you’re looking to take things to the next level, there’s an exclusive ZR2 Bison Edition available with stamped steel front and rear bumpers, enhanced hot-stamped steel skid plates, and much more.

Chevy Offers Something for Every Truck Driver

As you can see, Chevy has great reasons for offering so many different trim levels for the 2025 Silverado 1500. While they could probably reduce them by a few, this would ultimately eliminate some terrific choices designed to meet the needs of certain drivers. By providing nine different trims, Chevy makes it easy to explore everything the Silverado 1500 has to offer and find the right truck with the features you’ve been looking for. Plus, it ultimately comes down to a fleet option, five different general trims with improvements from one to the next, and three off-road models. By considering them in this way, it’s easier to focus on the models that might best meet your needs and pick the perfect one. That way, you get an amazing truck with the features you want, which you’ll love driving for many years to come.
