If you’re looking for a full-size SUV, your time behind the wheel is rarely solo. You’re usually transporting your kids (at least), and probably their friends or sports teammates, too. It sounds like you need a capable and reliable big SUV. Here’s the good news: we have the Chevy Suburban for sale near San Antonio at North Park Chevrolet.
The Suburban has been the go-to large SUV for parents and anyone with major passenger needs for decades. Its famously smooth ride and cavernous cabin make it ultra comfortable, even for the pickiest of passengers. The generous standard safety features, paired with powerful engines and tremendous cargo space, make the Suburban perfect for those after an SUV ready for life in town, and out of it.
Ready to explore the 2025 Suburban lineup? Below, we’ll cover the highlights of the six trims to give you a sense of their personalities. We’re impressed by the variety found in the lineup, and we think you will be, too.
#1 – The LS
For a base-level trim, the LS will impress. It has the Suburban’s starting engine, the 5.3L V8, pumping away beneath the hood, paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Dynamic Fuel Management System deactivates select cylinders when the SUV’s full power isn’t needed to improve fuel efficiency.
The standard safety features range from enhanced automatic braking to adaptive cruise control. The HD surround vision system uses well-placed cameras to show you what’s happening around your vehicle, too. Available features include confidence-boosting ones like blind zone steering assist to help you avoid collisions triggered by those hard-to-see areas and Super Cruise, Chevy’s hands-free driving technology.
Inside, you’ll enjoy the best-in-class 17.7-inch touchscreen, which should make it more than easy to see your turn-by-turn navigation. You’ll see your connected smartphone apps there, too. Beside that is an 11-inch diagonal driver information center, where you can see important journey and vehicle stats.
Spacious, flexible seats let you change the interior to adapt to your cargo or passenger needs. With all the rear seats down, you’ll enjoy up to 144.5 cu.ft. of cargo space, ready for days of completing errands around San Antonio. The LS can tow up to 8,200 pounds, so it can definitely keep up with your camping trips and out-of-town vacations.
#2 – The LT
Enjoy all that the LS has to offer, but just want a few more creature comforts? Consider the LT. It contains all that the LS has, and more. This trim has a programmable power liftgate. You can decide how high the liftgate opens, so let it open really wide if you have bulky cargo, or keep it low if you don’t want it to scrape a garage ceiling.
Leather-appointed seating surfaces offer a sophisticated look and feel here. The heated front bucket seats are a nice touch, too. They can melt the cold out of your bones on chilly days and provide ample room for adult riders.
You’ll also get the addition of wireless charging in this trim, so just because you forgot your USB cord at home, it doesn’t mean you’ll be stuck with a dead device all day. If you want some upscale features, but don’t necessarily require all the bells and whistles of the top trim, the LT is a great “luxury lite” option.

#3 – The RST
Looking for a performance-oriented style? If you like to turn heads and want an SUV that’s as fresh as it is functional, consider the RST. It adds a jet black interior with victory red stitching, which makes its interior feel racetrack-ready.
A monochromatic black grille with black ice accents delivers an urban-chic aesthetic. The available 24-inch machined and painted carbon flash metallic wheels will glimmer as you cruise by onlookers.
The addition of roof rails creates an external cargo solution. So you can put a bike rack or external cargo box up there, on days your cabin is stuffed to the gills.
#4 – The Z71
Are you an off-road enthusiast who still needs the practical perks of a full-size SUV? Check out the Z71 trim. This beloved rugged trim is available in other Chevy vehicles, and it’s so popular that Chevy gifted it to the Suburban. Just because you have to haul groceries and soccer gear doesn’t mean you don’t crave dirt trails, right?
This trim has an aluminum skid plate to protect your undercarriage from rocks or debris that fly up on the trails. The red recovery hooks can also help a buddy get you out of a tricky spot. So, when what looked like a regular road turns out to be a mud pit, you won’t be stuck forever.
The Autotrac two-speed active transfer case lets you choose between high and low range, so you can adapt to paved roads or off-road environments. The available Four-Corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension lets you raise and lower the vehicle to improve dynamics and efficiency. So raise it up when you need added ground clearance on bumpy trails, and lower it for efficiency on the I-10.
Black tubular assist steps give you and your passengers a sturdy place to get a grip before hopping in and out of the cabin. And finally, a high approach angle front fascia lets you clear obstacles on the trails with more confidence.
#5 – The Premier
Ready to explore the mid-range luxury trim? The Premier is a bit more upscale than the LT, but not quite as premium as the High Country. It adds LED headlamps and taillamps, complete with lighting animations. These not only illuminate your way in low-light settings, but also make you feel like a San Antonio celebrity, each time you approach your vehicle and the animation activates, just for you.
Inside, a power sliding center console gives you a convenient place to store valuables and rest your elbows. Heated and ventilated front-row seats and heated second-row seats provide comprehensive comfort for you and your passengers.
If you have a deep love of good sound systems, this is your trim. It has a Bose 10-speaker system with centerpoint surround sound technology. The system will fill every inch of your SUV with every note from your songs to every whisper from your podcasts.
At the rear, an available Auto-Sense Power Liftgate opens on its own as you approach with your key fob in your possession. So if your kids haven’t yet learned to open the trunk for you when your hands are full, the SUV has you covered.

#6 – The High Country
Okay, luxury lovers, this is your trim. The High Country will have all the features that the Premier has, and then some. But first, let’s not overlook its engine. The High Country gets the 6.2L EcoTec V8 engine. So you’ll enjoy a step up in horsepower and torque from the previous V8.
For added comfort, the Magnetic Ride Control adjusts shock absorption in real time to provide a smooth ride. This trim also has the available Four-Corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, if you want to go all out on terrain adaptability.
A Rear Camera Mirror lets you turn your rearview mirror into an additional display screen for your rearview camera. Plus, a 15-inch head-up display puts pertinent info right on your windshield to avoid distracted driving.
The style details will pop out at you in this trim. It has a unique High Country grille, unique sill plates, exclusive interior stitching and badging, and real wood decor. All in all, the inside feels like a luxury country club meets a western saloon in a high-end SUV.
